Ruby Louise (Sinclair) Baltisberger April 18, 1932 – June 27, 2012
Ruby Louise (Sinclair) Baltisberger, 80 of O’Fallon, Missouri formerly of Glenwood, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at St. Joseph’s West Hospital in Lake St. Louis, Missouri.
The daughter of Albert and Maudie Rachel (Turnpaugh) Sinclair, she was born on April 18, 1932 in Kirksville, Missouri. She was a graduate of the Lancaster High School with the class of 1949. Following her high school graduation, she attended St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing in Ottumwa, Iowa and graduated in 1952. She was united in marriage to Robert Baltisberger on September 21, 1957 at the Lancaster Baptist Church in Lancaster, Missouri. To this union three children were born, Susan, Paula and Janice.
Ruby is survived by her daughter, Janice Little and husband, Bryan of O’Fallon, Missouri; 3 grandchildren, Bryanna, Caleb and Alicia Little all of O’Fallon, Missouri; nieces and nephews, Debbie Dickerson and husband, Steve of St. Peters, Missouri, Denny Sinclair of Troy, Missouri, Donald Wayne Sinclair and wife, Marcia of Troy, Missouri and David Sinclair and wife, Narina of Alton, Illinois; several great nieces and nephews and other family members.
Ruby is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Baltisberger; 2 daughters, Susan and Paula Baltisberger; 1 brother, Albert Sinclair, jr. and his wife, Helen.
Ruby was a registered nurse for over 50 years working at Twin Pines in Kirksville, Missouri for 20 years before her retirement in 2005. Ruby loved to crochet and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan. Approximately 4 years ago, she moved to O’Fallon, Missouri to be with her daughter and family. Ruby attended the Calvary Church in St. Peters, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri with Leanna vanZandt, pastor of the Lancaster Methodist Church officiating. Music will be provided by organist, Maureen Watkins and soloist, Lisa Archer. Special musical selections of “In The Garden” and “Amazing Grace” will be provided. Pallbearers will be Quinten Smyser, Roy Lake, Kendall Gray, Caleb Little, Jim Little, Jeff Little and Adam Little. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 29, 2012 between the hours of 6-8:00 p.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri. Memorials have been established for the Schuyler County Nutrition Site. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery, south of Glenwood, Missouri.
